- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Sydney M Neblett -- She’s a real Jet setter : Books like this are why I fell in love with the Argeneau series! Right from the very first page, the author dropped us into the action and the story never slowed down from there. I love that Quinn suffers from the same fears and anxieties as the rest of us. And could Jet have been anymore of a better match for her? The two of them together make the perfect team, be it running from loco she-pires or abandoning ship to avoid the impending fireworks, these two connect on a level that brings them right to their HEA. This was a fantastic book and I can’t wait to see who finds the life-mate they’ve always dreamed of next. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2021 )
- 3.0 out of 5 stars from Kindle Customer -- Ok Read, but not Lynsay Sands best… : While I did enjoy this new release by Lynsay Sands…I was quite disappointed, it wasn’t one of her best. I have been a Lynsay Sands fan for over a decade and have read pretty much all of her Argeneau series and all of her historical romances and loved them. This book was ok, but a disappointment. Would it again? Probably. But I would’ve waited for it to go on sale and not preordered it. I think Lynsay could’ve done better with this one, it had so much potential. The hero was one hot thing…though he was as explored or given as much character as he could’ve had. The heroine was sweet. But I got tired of hearing how messed up she was, from herself, telling Jet that. It didn’t really have as much action as I’m used to in her books either. Jett (Jethro) is one of the pilots who fly the corporate Argeneau jets. During this flight, there is a problem and mortal Jett has to contend with some seriously injured "she...pires". - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Donna Burke -- Wonderful Addition to a Great Series!! : Lynsay Sands has done it again!! I recently reread the whole series and was so upset I had to wait two weeks for this release. I read through the series faster than I meant to. I love this new branch of family, I do wish there had been a little more of an interaction with some of the OG characters. Maybe Marguerite could put out a Holiday newsletter to everyone so we mean fans could see what's happening with all our favorites! As for this book, loved the humor and emotion throughout the story, it's a fast read because it's well written. Love the character development. I just wish the book was longer, I would love more detail, like why was there no mention of Marguerite's new baby? Oh well, hopefully in the next book on April. But this one is stilted and really odd. The story is not played out - it’s like someone doing a plot description. It’s no fun. Oh dear. Maybe the next one will be better.
